Haha, I saw this on Rachel's blog and had to add it. Apparently my ability to put survival higher on my list than don't beat up five year olds gives me a healthy ability to take on several at once.

Valentine's Day
Heidi and I decided to celebrate Valentine's today since we weren't able to celebrate it last week. We got the parentals to watch Alli and we went off for a night on the town. We were all dressed up and we decided to have dinner at the Tuscany Restaurant. Wow. Tuscany is awesome! The restaurant has a very classy design, and we were sat at a table that allowed us to watch the room and our interesting fellow patrons. We are both avid people watchers. Our waiter was very proper, and helped create a nice atmosphere for us. The food was wonderful. I had the salmon, which had a nice fried topping and was served over couscous. Heidi had a penne pasta with chicken and a delicious white sauce, with gorgonzola crumbled over it. We both loved our entrees. Then we had a Banana creme tarte for dessert. It was a wonderful evening.
After dinner we went back to Granpa Dave's & Dearma's to retrieve our little princess cuteface. They were still gone, so we went down stairs and began watching Martian Child with John and Joan Cusack. The movie was wonderfully touching. I would like to check out the book it is based on. We both loved the movie, and it leaves you with those warm fuzzies at the end.
All in all it was a great night. And definitely worth waiting a week and a half for!

Family
I would like to say how grateful I am for my family. I honestly have the best family ever. Yes, they are even better than your family.
My wife has been sick this week, and tonight we were getting ready to go to bed when she suddenly gets this sharp pain in her left side. She can't hardly stand, the pain is so bad and she keeps saying "Owee! Owee! Owee! It hurts so bad! Do something!". Of course, I am just freaking out. My first reaction is what any self-respecting husband and father would do: Call his parents for help. They suggested possibly kidney stones and offered to come over if I needed to take her to the emergency room (I love living within 5 miles of my parents). By this time I had come to my senses and decided to wake up my sister who will soon be going to PA school. After I told her the problem she instructed me to have Heidi stand up and walk around, get a drink of water, and try to use the restroom. After about 5 more minutes the pain began to subside. I decided to take a shower and shave in case I needed to go to the hospital tonight or tomorrow before work. When I was getting out of the shower, my sister calls back to see how my sweetheart is doing. I gave her the run down, and she recommended making sure Heidi stays very hydrated over the next few days. 2 minutes later my mom calls back and says "Since we can't sleep we just want to know how she is doing." My parents are awesome. So I gave my mom the run down, and she decided she could now sleep again.
Since Heidi is having periodic pain spells still, I am up and decided to start a blog!
